ELS Repair and Warranty Policy

Our Promise of Quality and Warranty

It is our policy to make each piece of equipment that we receive for repair look and act like new. If you are unhappy with how a device functions or looks when you receive it, we'll fix it free.

Repair Services Include:

  • Complete testing and diagnosis

  • Replacement of failed or weak components

  • EPROM upgrade as requested and available

  • Burn in period

  • Post repair testing

All plastic is replaced with new, painted or cleaned “like new” plastic.  Equipment that arrives with damaged plastic which can not be reused or is missing plastic parts will be subject for the charge for replacement plastic to make the device complete.

We ask that you do not ship your power supplies or cables.  New power supplies and cables are available at an additional charge.  Units are individually packaged and receive a one year warranty.

ELS also offers Online Repairs.

Warranty Test and Clean Policy

An in warranty test and clean is equipment that has been received for repair under warranty where there is no trouble found. This equipment will receive the same cosmetic and diagnostic treatment and will be billed at test and clean rate.


Warranty Policy

ELS guarantees that all warranted equipment that we repair or refurbish will function properly for a period of 12 months.  If a device fails during the warranty period, we will repair it at no charge.  Devices that have been abused, tampered with, damaged due to Acts of God or power surges are not covered under warranty.  Should a device be repaired within the warranty period, the warranty period does not restart, but will continue from the original date of repair.  ELS assumes no liability for the loss of the use of equipment during the repair period.  Devices received for repair that we diagnose as “no problem found” will be invoiced at the test and clean rate.

Important Note: It is important that you obtain an RA (Repair Authorization) number before shipping equipment to us for repair.  An RA will enable us to identify your equipment when it arrives.  If you are using ELS Online you will also be able to use the RA number to view the status of your equipment while it is in our facility.
